Dr. Kimberly Vissichelli has wanted to be a veterinarian since she was a child. She was born and raised on Long Island, and then attended Pennsylvania State University where she earned a B.S. in Animal Science. Dr. Vissichelli spent a year working at a veterinary hospital after college before attending Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine on the island of St. Kitts, completing her clinical year at the University of Minnesota. Dr. Vissichelli has worked in general practice on Long Island since graduating in 2011 and is thrilled to be part of the team at West Hills. She has many fur babies; several cats she acquired while fostering in high school, two cats and a dog from St Kitts, and a retired racing greyhound, all of whom she loves with all her heart. Her personal interests include martial arts and gymnastics which she has been participating in since she was young.
