Education: Ross University, University of Minnesota
Dr. Kimberly Meloni has wanted to be a veterinarian since she was a child. She was born and raised on Long Island, and then attended Pennsylvania State University where she earned a B.S. in Animal Science. Dr. Meloni spent a year working at a veterinary hospital after college before attending Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine on the island of St. Kitts, completing her clinical year at the University of Minnesota. Dr. Meloni has worked in general practice on Long Island since graduating in 2011 and is thrilled to be part of the team at West Hills. She lives with her husband and daughter very near to where she grew up. She has many fur babies; two cats and a dog from St Kitts, a retired racing greyhound and a cat she bottle fed from 10 days old, all of whom she loves with all her heart. Her personal interests include martial arts and gymnastics which she has been participating in since she was young.
Clients of Locust Valley Veterinary Clinic never pay an additional emergency fee when being seen at West Hills Animal Emergency & Critical Care Center for after hour emergencies.
